Zheng Bai Yu est fonctionnaire retraité, il a passé 13 ans en Mongolie Intérieure pendant les années de révolution culturelle et malgré le contexte et ses racines pékinoises, il y a gardé un fort attachement. C'est sa "deuxième maison". D'où son implication dans le projet contre la désertification de la région de Chagannor qu'il co-dirige depuis quelques années avec son homologue coréen. Ici au travail dans les rangées d'arbustes récemment plantés - Zheng Bai Yu is a retired civil servant. He spent 13 years in Inner Mongolia during the cultural revolution and despite the dramatic context and his Beijing roots, he kept solid connections with the area that he called his "2d home land". hence his commitment in the project against desertification in Chagannor area that he co-manages with his korean counter part.
