L'ONG coréenne Eco Peace Asia tente de redonner au lac asséché de Chagannor un écosystème en stoppant l'avancée du désert voisin de Hunshan Dake puis en plantant sur l'ancien lac une végétation appropriée à ses caractéristiques singulières en termes de climat et de présences chimiques. Ici des volontaires pékinois plantent des barrières naturelles pour stopper l'avancée du désert et limiter la dispersion dans l'air de particules alcaliques nocives - Korean NGO Eco Peace Asia is trying to restaure Chagannor an eco system by stopping the progression of neighboring desert of Hunshan Dake. In this prospect, Eco Peace Asia is planting on the surface of the dried up lake a special type of vegetation adapted to rather unique local conditions due to climate and soil chemistry. here beijing volunteers are putting together a natural fence to stop the progression of the desert and hold the alkali particles from dispersing.
