Ici des moules d’embrasses en bois d'hêtre et une embrasse finie et realisation d'un satinage d’un coulant, petite pièce de bois au dessus du moule. La pièce finale en bois forme un gland qui termine generalement l'embrasse. Story on Declercq Trimmings , a 7 generation company that has been keeping alive the tradition of trimming, the art of decorating clothing, furniture and wall hangings with strips of fabric in gold, silk, wool or cotton thread since 1852. From its showroom in Paris and its workshop in the parisien subburbs, the family business has a worldwide reputation, with prestigious orders from castles and museums and collaborations with top decorators. Here we have beechwood tieback moulds and a finished tieback, with satin-finishing of a runner, a small piece of wood above the mould. The final piece of wood forms an tassel which generally finishes the tieback.
