Death Hotel / 15 Days to die in Varanasi

Reportage en Inde sur l'ONG : Hotel Kashi Labh Mukti Bhavan, communément appelé "Death Hotel" ("maison du salut") qui est un lieu à Varanasi où viennent des gens gravement malade ou en fin de vie pour mourir en lieu saint et mettre fin au cycle des réincarnations et permettre à l'âme d'atteindre la liberté spirituelle et le repos éternelle. Ils viennent généralement pour 15 jours (le temps que le lieu leur donne gratuitement). Il n'y a ni medecins ni traitement, ici seul les prières des prêtre et de la famille et l'eau du Gange donnent le réconfort jusqu'au dernier souffle.Le corps est en suite livré aux flammes et les cendres ou restes de corps aux fleuve mère le Gange. Ici un des pretres passe dans les chambres pour la prière. La bougie fait partie intégrante du rituel et symbolise la dévotion et la pureté mais aussi la victoire de la lumière sur les ténèbres. La lumière invite et aide le croyant à entrer en prière. La clochette(Ghanta) elle sert à appeler les divinitées. They generally come for 15 days (the time that the place gives them free of charge). There are no doctors or treatment, only the prayers of the priest and the family and the water from the Ganges to comfort them until their last breath. The body is then delivered to the flames and the ashes or remains of the body to the Ganga river. Here one of the priests is passing through the rooms for prayer. The candle is an integral part of the ritual and symbolises devotion and purity, as well as the victory of light over darkness. The light invites and helps the believer to enter into prayer. The bell (Ghanta) is used to call the divinities.
