Reportage sur le block printing ou impression de tissues à la planche de bois suclptée dans l'entreprise familiale Rk Derawala en Inde à Bagru au Rajasthan, lieu de naissance de cet art qui à plus de 450 ans et qui fut importé en Europe. Ici Vinay Laxmi lors du processus de teinture en réserve de l'indigo à l'aide de dabu (pâte de boue). La pâte de boue est d'abord étalée sur la surface, puis recouverte d'une couche de sciure de bois qui absorbe l'excès d'humidité. Une fois que le tissu a complètement séché, il est délicatement torsadé et teint.
