Après le lavage, le tissu est essoré par Kamal Dhobi dans un séchoir pour éliminer l'excès d'eau. Cette étape permet d'éliminer rapidement et efficacement l'humidité, préparant ainsi le tissu aux étapes suivantes de traitement ou de finition. L'utilisation d'un séchoir garantit un séchage uniforme et plus rapide que le séchage à l'air libre.
