Pendant plusieurs jours, il a photographié exclusivement avec des pellicules argentiques noir et blanc au format 24 x 36, les principales côtes du Danemark. Des ports de pêches de Fionie, des falaises de Seeland, des ports industriels du Jutland central, des plages à perte de vue du Jutland du Nord, des longues routes du coté de la mer du Nord, des dunes herbacées au bord de la mer baltique ; il a parcouru environ 1 800 km le long des côtes danoise. Avec cette série, le photographe nous emporte dans cette mélancolie automnale où le moindre sursaut de lumière nous happe dans les profondeurs de ses clichés à l’atmosphère crépusculaire. Ses images s’assemblent pour former un long chemin côtier où le calme relatif de la mer Baltique laisse place à la furie de la mer du Nord et de ses vents violents, pour nous emporter dans l’histoire oubliée des peuples vikings. La pointe de Grenen, au nord du Danemark, est la rencontre entre deux détroits, le Skagerrak et le Cattégat.

For several days, he photographed the main Danish coasts exclusively with black and white silver film in 24 x 36 format. From the fishing harbours of Fionie, the cliffs of Seeland, the industrial harbours of Central Jutland, the endless beaches of North Jutland, the long roads on the North Sea side, the grassy dunes on the Baltic Sea side; he has travelled about 1,800 km along the Danish coast. With this series, the photographer takes us into the autumnal melancholy where the slightest burst of light draws us into the depths of his twilight-like pictures. His images come together to form a long coastal path where the relative calm of the Baltic Sea gives way to the fury of the North Sea and its violent winds, to take us into the forgotten history of the Viking peoples. Grenen Point, in northern Denmark, is the meeting point of two straits, the Skagerrak and the Cattegat.
