Suisse-La Rossiniere : realise de 1752 a 1756 pour et par David Henchoz, le Grand Chalet dote de 113 fenetres, figure parmi les plus vieux chalets de Suisse. Ses dimensions ont ete determinees par la necessite de creer de grandes caves de bois destinees a la commercialisation du fromage en gros et conditionnant ainsi la grandeur de l ensemble du batiment. Le Chalet est reste dans les mains de la meme famille jusqu en 1875 puis est transforme en 1852 en hotel pension de solide reputation. Victor Hugo et Alfred Dreyfus figurent parmi les hotes les plus celebres. Le Comte Balthazar Klossowski de Rola l acquiert en 1977 et s y installe avec sa femme, la Comtesse Setsuko Klossowska de Rola jusqu a la fin de sa vie. Realized from 1752 till 1756 for and by David Henchoz, the Big Chalet endowed with 113 windows, face among Swiss s oldest chalets. His dimensions were determined by the necessity to create big wooden cellars intended for the marketing of the cheese roughly and so packaging the size of the whole building. The Chalet remained in the hands of the same family until 1875 then is transformed into 1852 in hotel pension of robust reputation. Victor Hugo and Alfred Dreyfus appear among the most famous hosts. The Count Balthazar Klossowski de Rola acquires it in 1977 and settles down with his wife, the Countess Setsuko Klossowska de Rola till the end of his life there.
