Meeting de propagande a mogadiscio

Manifestation, le 8 décembre, contre l'engagement militaire éthiopien auprès du gouvernement transitoire des chefs de guerre de Badoïa et contre la levée de l'embargo sur les armes en Somalie decretée par l'ONU le 5 décembre. La guerre de retour, l'Union des Tribunaux Islamiques galvanise la population. Les miliciens distribuent leurs propres armes à quelques femmes ceintes d'un bandeau "Allah est grandî et les déclarent femmes combattantes, alors qu'elles se trouvent dans la tribune qui leur est réservée. Demonstration on December 8, 2006, protesting against the Ethiopian military commitment to the transitional government of the War Lords in Badoia and against the lifting of the arms embargo on Somalia, as voted by the United Nations on December 5, 2006. War had returned and the Union of Islamic Tribunals galvanized the population. The militiamen distributed their own weapons to a number of women wearing a headband proclaiming "Allah is greatî and showing that they were fighters; they were in the section reserved for women.
