Mogadiscio Somalie dec 2006 Un jeune garçon dans une madrasa (ecole coranique) Tous les enfants filles et garcons doivent aller obligatoirement jusqu a l age de 5 ans à la madrassa qui fait office d ecole primaire (1 dollars par mois). Ils y apprennent les sourates du Coran en arabe qui devient leur "première langue" Boy in a madrasa (Koranic school). All children, both boys and girls, have to go to school until the age of five. Their "primary schoolî is the madrasa and they pay one dollar a month to attend. They learn to recite the verses of the Koran in Arabic which then becomes their "main languageî. Those who can afford it, go on to more expensive private schools ($5-10 dollars a month).
