The dome of Hagia Sophia. It was born as a church, one of the icons of the Byzantine world, Built in 537 as the patriarchal cathedral of the imperial capital of Constantinople, it was the largest Christian church in the Eastern Roman Empire (the Byzantine Empire) and of the Eastern Orthodox Church, Constantinople fell to Ottoman forces in 1453, Mehmed II the Conqueror converted it into a mosque and museum by Mustafa Kemal Atatrk, the father of modern Turkey, UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hagia Sophia in 2020 again converted in Ayasofya Great Mosque by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
