. Hassan al Banna, the first "General Guide" of the Muslim Brotherhood founded the religious, social and political movement in 1928 in Ismailia, Egypt. While it spread to other Muslim countries, the group remained strongest in Egypt where it became the largest and best-organized political opposition force in the country. As a result of the revolution this year the Brotherhood was legalized and in April launched the Freedom and Justice political party,Cairo - Egypt 04/09/2011,
