Kandahar Central Prison, more than 1,200 prisoners mainly criminals, drug addicts, dealers, are awaiting trial. Four months after the Taliban returned to power, the courts are not working. Islamist justice is however at the heart of their political project. after conquest of power the Taliban had opened wide the doors of the cells. They quickly filled them up again as we have seen in this city, their historic stronghold. Kandahar. Afghanistan. 28/11/2021
