Reza Shah's Mausoleum, located in Ray south of Tehran, is the burial ground of Reza Shah the great, the penultimate king of Iran. In the early days of the Iranian Revolution in 1979, Reza Shah's mausoleum was destroyed by bulldozers and dynamite by Ayatollah Sadeq Khalkhali Chief Justice of the revolutionary courts, known as the hanging judge he had at that time promised to build some WC.
