STROMBOLI ISLAND (SICILY), MEDITERRANEAN SEA - SEPTEMBER 2018 : A scientific diver explore the depths 100 meters under the Stromboli on September 8, 2018, in the Aeolian islands archipelago, Mediterranean Sea. Mount Stromboli is one of the world’s most active volcanoes. The entire edifice rises 2000 meters beneath the sea, with the emergent part peaking at 924 meters. We dive close to the Sciara del Fuoco depression, from which incandescent projections glide at a steady pace. It is around these volcanic bombs, ejected from the heart of the Earth, that we evolve surrounded by the sound of the rumbling of the Stromboli. (Photo by Alexis Rosenfeld/Getty Images)
