Serpule (Serpula vermicularis) - Red tube worm

Ce qui ressemble ici à une fleur est en réalité le panache branchial d'un ver tubicole. Il lui sert autant à respirer qu'à attraper sa nourriture. *** What looks like a flower here is actually the gill plume of a tubeworm. It is used as much for breathing as for catching food.
