PELAGOS SANCTUARY (FRANCE), MEDITERRANEAN SEA - AUGUST 2020 : Observation of a group of long-finned pilot whales (Globicephala melas) socializing on August 15, 2020, in the French part of the Pelagos Sanctuary, Mediterranean Sea. The long-finned pilot whales are the second largest Delphinidae, after killer whales. As for all species of this family, four behavioral states can be observed. These represent socializing, foraging, traveling, and resting. (Photo by Alexis Rosenfeld/Getty Images)
