Paris, FRANCE: French right-wing party UMP presidential candidate Nicolas Sarkozy is applauded by supporters as he arrives to deliver a speech after the announcement of the first unofficial estimates of the first round of the presidential election, 22 April 2007 at the UMP headquarters in Paris. According to unofficial estimates from four polling firms Rightwinger Nicolas Sarkozy and Socialist Segolene Royal will contest a run off after winning most votes in the first round of France's presidential election next 6 May.
